MIGHTY TALENTS

MSOM is a family for life and will support any path you pursue. 95% of our members are non-music majors, and we take pride in that. Our organization strives to encourage diverse interests and ideas.

MIGHTY UNIFORM

Taking inspiration from the Maryland state flag, our uniform boasts a proud tradition of excellence. Honoring the years of MSOM that came before, the latest design embodies our school's athletic traditions and pioneers our new presence as a Big Ten marching band.

MIGHTY PRIDE

As the Flagship University for the State of Maryland, MSOM represents the very best of our school and state. During our pregame show, we unfurl the largest state flag (almost 20 yards wide!). Whether you're a Maryland native, or joining us from elsewhere, you will feel "Maryland Pride" soon enough!

MIGHTY FAMILY

Every member of the Mighty Sound of Maryland is welcomed with their unique identities to craft our iconic sound and honor our mighty legacy. MSOM encompasses a diverse set of over 200 students, representing every corner of our campus, and provides a space to learn, develop, and socialize.
